Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua was on the receiving end of criticism after he shot his shot with Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney. After the Euphoria star described her dream man as someone willing to “climb a mountain” or “go skydiving with her.” The wide receiver took his chance and responded that he “loved skydiving,” adding that “reservations” were set days later.

Nacua joined Kay Adams on her “Up & Adams” show. The analyst asked him whether he was serious about going on a date with Sweeney.

”Did you ever think that Tweet would get as much publicity as it did?” Adams asked.

Nacua said he didn’t think his post would go viral, and took his chance to ask Sweeney out again.

“No, not at all,” Nacua began. “My awareness skills were at zero. I don’t regret it at all. I would still love to go skydiving. I’m not going to pass that opportunity up.”

Many fans reacted to Nacua’s comments, and the vast majority called him out for pushing it.

“Bro needs to learn how to take an L,” one fan said.

“And Sydney Sweeney tells him ‘Listen i told you many times to go away weirdo,’” another fan said.

“Once her people tell her that your brother likes to steal cars, I’m sure you are getting blocked,” a third fan said.
