Rashee Rice Faces TMZ Reporter’s Barrage Of Questions After Ex-GF Accuses Him Of Abuse [VIDEO]

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has stayed quiet as new personal allegations follow him.
TMZ Sports shared a short video Wednesday showing a reporter trying to question Rice at an airport. Rice walked past without responding. The clip quickly spread, adding to the growing attention around the situation.
The accusations first appeared in early January. Rice’s ex-girlfriend, Dacoda Nichole Jones, posted on Instagram and accused the father of her two children of abusing her. She shared videos showing bruises and injuries but did not name Rice directly.
TMZ Sports followed Rice at LAX and asked direct questions. Rice said nothing. The reporter asked, “There’s a lot of headlines right now, what’s your side?” He followed up with, “No comment? No comment, okay.” The final question came as Rice reached his car. “Was there ever a hand put on anybody?” Rice entered the vehicle and drove away.
Chiefs Monitor Allegations As Rice’s History Draws Scrutiny

TMZ Sports shared the video on social media and confirmed the date and location. The outlet reported that Rice declined all comment. The post described the exchange as exclusive coverage.
The Kansas City Chiefs acknowledged the situation days after Jones shared her claims. The team released a brief statement. “The club is aware of the allegations on social media and is in communication with the National Football League. We have no further comment at this time.” The team has not spoken since.

Jones deleted her Instagram posts two days later. As of Jan 28, police have not filed any reports against Rice. The NFL has also not made a public statement.
The situation comes after a difficult stretch for Rice. In July 2025, a judge sentenced him to 30 days in jail and five years of probation for his role in a multi-car crash during the 2024 offseason.
Rice pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges, including causing serious injury in a collision and racing on a highway. Several people were hurt, and Rice and others left the scene. The NFL later suspended him six games for violating its personal conduct policy.
Rice has also had trouble staying on the field. Over the past two seasons, he missed 22 of 34 games because of injuries and suspension. He returned in 2025 and finished with 53 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns, but a concussion ended his season early. In 2024, a knee injury cut his season short in Week 4.
For now, the Chiefs and the league wait. Rice continues to say nothing.
