Jets’ Cornback Jordan Clark really shouldn’t have talked trash to Stefon Diggs.

By the time the second quarter started, the game between the Jets and Patriots was already over. With less than two minutes to play, Drake Maye tried to find his star wideout for a potential first-down play. Unfortunately, the pass was broken up by the Jets’ defense.

The Patriots were set to punt the ball away. However, Jordan Clark, who is the son of Ryan Clark, had to talk some trash. He got in the face of Stefon Diggs. Refs saw it and threw a penalty for taunting. That gave the Patriots a new set of downs.

Clark helped the Patriots score on that drive as they went up 35-3. It was a mind-boggling penalty since he did not break up that initial pass.

Stefon Diggs caught all six of his targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 42-10 win over the Jets.

Jordan Clark’s father was also known for his trash-talking and big hits. His controversy is now coming from his analysis. Fans have called for him to be fired on several occasions. Clark previously wouldn’t allow Monday Night Football to go off the air without speaking on Kyren Lacy. He would soon have to apologize once more information came out.

His son just learned a valuable lesson about his behavior on Sunday.
