Tyler Shough did not just beat the Baltimore Ravens. He emptied the building of hope with 1:28 left. New Orleans trailed 17-9 after three quarters at M&T Bank Stadium. Then he hit Chris Olave for 21 yards and later sneaked in from the 1. Julian Blackmon picked Lamar Jackson to close it. The final was 24-17.
CBS found the other scoreboard in the stands. A young Ravens fan in purple stood frozen while an adult hand sat on his shoulder. The graphic read Saints 24, Ravens 17, nine seconds left. Saints Film Room posted the shot with one line.

This is year two of a job that started as a midseason rescue. The Saints drafted him 40th overall in 2025 and parked him behind Spencer Rattler. He took the keys in October. New Orleans went 5-4 with him as a starter last year. He is still the same 6-foot-5 Louisville transfer who keeps finding answers when the pocket dies.
Olave is the other half of that late surge. He is wearing a Guardian Cap after years of head injuries and still won the biggest throw of the day. The run game stayed stuck. Alvin Kamara managed 15 yards on nine carries. Kelvin Banks left with an ankle injury. Shough still walked the offense 68 yards in 16 plays when the game was on the line.
Baltimore had Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and a 14-3 lead in front of their fans. Henry finished with 68 yards. Jackson threw for 235 and took the pick that ended it. The Ravens now fly to Rio to play Dallas. The Saints host Las Vegas. Shough’s first start already feels like old news. The kid in the purple jersey is the new picture of what that sneak did.
