It appears that George Kittle has turned to a strong alcoholic beverage to numb the physical and emotional pain of his season-ending injury.
George Kittle suffered a gruesome-looking Achilles injury during the second quarter of the San Francisco 49ers’ playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately, it already appears to be a season-ending injury.
With Kittle’s season presumably over, it seems that he’s already in “party mode.”
According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, a 49ers employee was seen “carrying what appeared to be a bottle of tequila.” The NFL insider speculates that it’s for none other than Mr. Kittle.

If Kittle can’t play anymore, why not have some alcohol to loosen up and get a little emotional boost?
Per Pro Football Reference, Kittle finished the regular season with 57 receptions for 628 yards and seven touchdowns. He had one reception for six yards before leaving Sunday’s game.
If the 49ers win, they’ll visit the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round next Sunday. In that case, the Los Angeles Rams would visit the Chicago Bears.
