Ian Rapoport Gives Update On San Francisco 49ers Star Players
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport gave a massive update on this contest. Tight end George Kittle has dealt with his fair share of injuries in 2025.
George Kittle and wide receiver Jauan Jennings were injured in the season opener. Kittle was also placed on the injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury. That injury came against the Seahawks.
The concern for the San Francisco 49ers was his ankle for the final game of the year. Ian Rapoport reported that the star will “absolutely” play in this contest. However, he hasn’t been listed as a full participant in practice as of yet. That is the only thing that remains up in the air.
President of Football Operations John Lynch also spoke on Kittle. He said he would be “very surprised” if the veteran tight end misses this week’s game against Seattle.
Rapoport also spoke on Trent Williams. He hasn’t practiced due to his hamstring injury, and the insider believes he will not play against Seattle.

Kittle has had another very productive season with the 49ers, catching 52 passes for 599 yards through 10 games. He remains one of Brock Purdy’s favorite red-zone targets. As long as the San Francisco 49ers have him, they are in a great position.
