A 4.2 magnitude earthquake just shook up San Francisco on Monday. The earthquake followed a 3.9 quake and a string of tremors, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
That 4.2 quake struck at 7:01 a.m. It came after a string of quakes that began with a 3.9 at 6:27 a.m. USGS said the 4.2 tremor was about 9.4 km in depth.
Levi’s Stadium will be the site of Super Bowl 60 in less than a week. The stadium is located approximately 40 miles from San Francisco. It is unknown whether the quake was felt there, but it is certainly something to watch.

Luckily, neither team is in San Francisco. For Super Bowl LX, the New England Patriots are practicing at Stanford University in Palo Alto. The Seattle Seahawks are practicing at San Jose State University in San Jose, CA.
Both teams arrived in the Bay Area on February 1 for their final preparations before the big game.
