Deion Sanders Jr. dropped a cryptic message on X on Tuesday that had CFB fans doing a double-take. The oldest son of Coach Prime posted about people trying to recoup holiday spending by constantly mentioning the name that holds major weight.

He didn’t name names, but everyone knew who he was talking about.

“You gotta understand, People have to recoup the money that they’ve spent during the holiday season. So they’re going to constantly mention the name that holds MAJOR weight,” he wrote.

His half-brother, Shedeur, just wrapped another start for the Cleveland Browns, with their father making the trip to watch him face Buffalo over the weekend. The NFL rookie has the internet buzzing. Meanwhile, Deion Jr.’s career path? Taking photos and running content for dear old Dad in Boulder.

The Sanders family name opens doors, but fans weren’t letting this one slide without receipts.

One user cut straight to the bone. “Bro you are the one holding onto his name more than anyone. Shilo making a career as a streamer, shedeur making the league, you are riding the coattails.”

Another fan went biblical. “Who God?”

This response channeled pure schadenfreude. “You know Primetime is sick that Shaduer is in the league and his namesake, his JR is taking pictures of him lol.”

Someone validated the original point, sort of. “factsss. videos don’t do as well without the name.”

Then came the haymaker. “It’s hilarious that this is coming from the failure of the family.”

One fan just replied with “lmaooooo”

Another threw shade at both brothers. “This don’t make no sense! Kind of like your brother playing in the NFL.”

And finally, the most direct question. “Why don’t you play football?”

The internet wasn’t buying what Deion Jr. was selling, and the family dynamics only made it worse.

Shedeur suited up against Buffalo over the weekend with the entire Sanders clan on the sidelines. Coach Prime showed up with rumored girlfriend Karrueche Tran, while Mama Pilar, Deion Jr., and sister Shelomi all rolled deep to support the rookie.

The Browns lost 23-20, but Shedeur’s getting NFL reps while his older brother watches from the family section.

Deion Jr. played college ball at SMU from 2013 to 2015 but never pursued the pros. Now he’s behind the camera instead of in front of it, documenting his father’s Colorado rebuild and his brother’s NFL journey.

Colorado’s dealing with its own drama, losing 18 players to the transfer portal. But that’s Coach Prime’s problem to solve, not his oldest son’s.
