Seattle Seahawks Player Receives Punishment For His Actions During Super Bowl 60

After a Super Bowl 60 that had everything, including a streaker, a controversial halftime show that resulted in an investigation from the FCC, and a lopsided win for the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL released its final gameday accountability of the season.
The NFL posted the prior week’s summary every Saturday at 4 p.m. ET to announce fines around the league. The final edition of the weekly summary came on Saturday, of course, showing that the NFL still found a way to get some money out of the players.
Only one player received a fine after Super Bowl 60. Seattle Seahawks cornerback Josh Jobe was fined twice for unnecessary roughness against the New England Patriots. Jobe was flagged with 13:24 left to play. He hit Stefon Diggs late. Then, he got another flag for his retaliation after Diggs came back at him. He’ll have to pay the league $9,222 for the two fines.
Seahawks Predicted To Replace Josh Jobe In Upcoming 2026 NFL Draft

Josh Jobe could be on his way out of the Seahawks after winning Super Bowl 60. The veteran cornerback helped Seattle build a terrific secondary that terrorized opposing offenses. He and Riq Woolen are impending free agents, and the Seahawks might not keep them.
NFL.com senior editor Dan Parr believes they could draft Tennessee’s Colton Hood with the No. 32 pick to replace Jobe or Woolen.
“Fresh off a Super Bowl run, John Schneider reloads at cornerback, with Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe among the Seahawks’ impending free agents. Hood is a physical cover man who should fit well in Seattle,” Parr wrote.
The Seahawks have a solid chance at going back-to-back next season, but they must make smart moves to solidify their case.
