The Jacksonville Jaguars-Indianapolis Colts game at EverBank Stadium could be affected and potentially delayed by a thunderstorm.

Jacksonville hosts Indianapolis in a game with significant playoff implications. The winner will have sole possession of first place in the AFC South and move an inch closer to locking down a playoff berth.

However, it appears that the two clubs will have to contend with some unfavorable and less-than-ideal weather conditions.

According to AccuWeather, Sunday’s forecast in Jacksonville is 15°F with a 100% chance of precipitation. They’re calling for 32.6 millimeters of rain with the possibility of a thunderstorm.

Dress accordingly, Jacksonville Jaguars fans.

Jacksonville Jaguars Would Control Their Own Destiny With A Win On Sunday

Liam Coen’s Jaguars have been one of the NFL’s biggest surprise teams of 2025. Despite losing rookie two-way phenom Travis Hunter for the season, the resilient Jaguars have scraped out some tough wins with their defense and prolific running game.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, however. And Jaguars fans needn’t be reminded of their brutal 2023 collapse, when the division appeared to be on ice heading into December.

Jacksonville would claim sole possession of first place with a victory over the Colts, whose remaining opponents are multiple games above .500. If the Jags win and the Houston Texans fall to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday? They’ll be that much closer to securing the division title.
