Shedeur Sanders Delivers Epic Mature, Professional Response To Reporter’s Strange Question [VIDEO]

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders is receiving widespread praise for how he handled a reporter’s awkward question on Sunday.
The Browns nearly upset the Buffalo Bills on Sunday despite a shaky performance by their starting QB. Shedeur Sanders briefly left the game after suffering a gnarly cut on his right pinky finger, only to return minutes later.
Star rookie running back Quinshon Judkins had to be carted off after suffering a serious leg injury. After the game, the Browns learned he fractured his fibula and dislocated his ankle, ending Judkins’ excellent first season.
Arguably, the biggest play of the game occurred with five minutes left in the fourth quarter. Trailing 23-20 with five minutes remaining, the Browns faced a 4th-and-2 situation at their own 44-yard line.
Kevin Stefanski told the offense to go for it. Shedeur Sanders was sacked on the play, allowing Buffalo to melt valuable time off the clock in Cleveland territory. They managed to close it out with a 23-20 victory.
Fans Praise Shedeur Sanders For Powerful Response To Reporter’s Question

Per Chris Franklin of NJ.com, one reporter asked Sanders if Stefanski made the right decision to go for it on 4th-and-2. Sanders, however, wasn’t in the mood to critique his own head coach.
“You can’t be asking me that question,. Come on, man…if we want to change the narrative and change the franchise, we have to speak life.
Those types of things separate us. A lot of the players get these types of questions. We want to be working with you all and we want to be proactive, but when questions are asked to us players and it’s pinning stuff against each other, come on now…That doesn’t help anything. It doesn’t help anything in any situation, no matter how you answer it.”
Sanders received high praise for his handling and response to the question.
“This is such a mature, professional answer from #Browns QB Shedeur Sanders,” wrote NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

“Gotta like a player with that type of attitude and poise. Tip my hat, love to see and hear. I wish him to have success in this league, if he doesn’t, he will have played and acted the right way,” a user added.

Through his first six NFL games, Shedeur Sanders now has 1,103 passing yards and six touchdowns against eight interceptions. Of course, the Browns haven’t given him the best set of playmakers. And it’s going to get even tougher with Judkins done for the season.
Sanders and Cleveland will look to play spoiler when they host the archrival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers and company need just one more win to claim the AFC North division crown.
