Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is facing decades in prison if convicted of attempted murder.
Brown was extradited from Dubai on an arrest warrant earlier this month, having spent some time on the run after an incident that took place in Florida back in May.
ESPN is reporting that Brown is facing up to 30 years in prison on a guilty conviction. Attempted murder could carry a maximum of 15 years in jail in Florida; however, per Assistant State Attorney Stephanie Cruz, he could face double the time because a firearm was used.

Antonio Brown Denies Having Fired At Anyone

Antonio Brown is accused of snatching a handgun from a security guard at a celebrity boxing match in Miami on May 16 and firing two shots at Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, with whom he had gotten into a fight.
Nantambu claimed one of the bullets grazed his neck.
Brown’s attorney said at a hearing that the information in the affidavit is wrong and that the former wideout used his own firearm, adding that the shots were not aimed at anyone.
The 37-year-old claimed he was acting in self-defense and was trying to ward off individuals who were attempting to rob him.
Having spent months out of the country, with a warrant issued in June, he was extradited from Dubai, where he is said to have business interests, in early November.
He was released from jail last week on a $25,000 bond, having pleaded not guilty, and is under house arrest, wearing a GPS ankle monitor. The former Pro Bowler’s first bit of activity after he left custody was caught on camera and had social media making allsorts of jokes.
