Chicago finally got its answer. The player who punched the ceiling during the Bears’ locker-room celebration was wide receiver Rome Odunze. Videos showed him jumping with his teammates after last Friday’s 24-15 win over the Eagles. He threw his fist up, hit the ceiling, and then shook his hand in pain, but he kept celebrating.

The scene happened right after Chicago’s head coach Ben Johnson ripped off his shirt, which sent the whole room into chaos. Johnson did it because The Wieners Circle promised free hot dogs if he went shirtless after a win this season. He followed through, and the restaurant did too, offering a giveaway on Tuesday.

Johnson laughed about it on Monday and leaned into the moment. “Any chance you get to feed a city, you want to do it,” he said. “Man of the people.”

Chicago’s season has completely turned around. The team started 0-2 but found its energy when Caleb Williams threw four touchdown passes against the Cowboys in September. The Wieners Circle gave out thousands of free hot dogs that day, and the Bears have been rolling ever since.

Their win over the Eagles was their fifth straight. Chicago is now 9-3 and holds the top seed in the NFC. The Bears controlled the game with 281 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and Eagles fans booed as Chicago kept dominating.

The locker room celebration showed how much confidence the team has right now. Players danced and shouted while feeding off head coach Ben Johnson’s energy. That’s when Rome Odunze jumped higher than everyone else, punched the ceiling in excitement. The video went viral, and everyone laughed about it

Johnson’s first year has given the city real hope. The Bears still have more games to win, but they look like a serious playoff team. For now, Chicago will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
