Well, the Baltimore Ravens have an easy decision to move on from pending free agent and guard Daniel Faalele.

The Ravens selected Daniel Faalele in round four (110th overall) in 2022. Playing out the final season of his rookie deal, the 26-year-old had a forgettable 2025 campaign on a tremendously disappointing Baltimore team.

Baltimore already made one drastic change after getting eliminated from playoff contention with a Week 18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Legendary head coach John Harbaugh was fired on Tuesday, ending his 18-year tenure with the organization.

As far as roster changes go? If the Ravens strictly look at the game tape, they’ll have an easy decision to move on from Daniel Faalele as well.

Someone made a compilation of Faalele’s struggles throughout the 2025 season. And, well, let’s just say that Lamar Jackson will be happy to have a new guard next year:

Pro Football Focus gave Daniel Faalele a 57.2 overall grade for 2025, ranking him 53rd among 81 guards. He committed five penalties and allowed four sacks.

Aside from Faalele, linebacker Kyle Van Noy, former Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, center Tyler Linderbaum and safety Alohi Gilman headline the Ravens’ group of pending free agents.

Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta isn’t one to spend lavishly in free agency. But he might not have a choice this time. The Ravens have holes on the o-line and secondary, and they definitely need extra help at wide receiver.

Few teams draft as well as the Ravens, but DeCosta should use the open market to fill some of his roster voids. Trey Hendrickson, Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, Wyatt Teller, Joel Bitonio and Haason Reddick are among the notable free agents who could help Baltimore re-emerge as a championship contender.

For now, the Ravens’ focus is on finding the successor to John Harbaugh.
