A four-year-old girl football fan, Reese Donatelli, found herself on the receiving end of backlash from Cardi B. Unfortunately, it would lead to even more from other NFL fans.
Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend and baby mama found out about Donatelli’s pick for the Playoff game last week and expressed her frustration with the girl. Just last week, Reese made her picks for the upcoming slate of Divisional Round matchups just as she did the previous week before that. However, during the Wild Card round, she got every single game wrong.
The little girl actually picked the Patriots to win. However, because she was usually wrong, it had been seen as a bad omen. Cardi B screamed in one of her recent clips posted on social media about Donatelli and said, “F–k that b-tch.” She then immediately apologized, saying, “I didn’t mean to say that.”

This was the same time she called out ESPN for picking against them. That moment mattered because it put a spotlight on the kid.
Father Speaks Out About Cardi B Calling His Daughter Out of Her Name

Rapper Cardi B sparked controversy ahead of the AFC Championship Game between New England and the Denver Broncos. Reese Donatelli, a 4-year-old girl, took social media by storm when she shared her predictions for the latest NFL playoff games.
However, one of them did not sit well with the girlfriend of Patriots WR Stefon Diggs.
After the clip went viral, Reese’s father, Anthony, responded to the 33-year-old rapper. Donatelli said this entire moment has turned into an online nightmare that he calls “nuts.”
Anthony Donatelli called Cardi B’s comments ‘unfortunate’ but clarified he was not looking for an issue. ‘I’m not here to fight fire with fire. I’m not angry,’ he said. ‘We don’t want anybody or anything to ruin what Reese and I have created and how we bond.’
Unfortunately, other fans sent death threats towards the young kid.
“She’s obviously not an NFL analyst,” Donatelli told the Los Angeles Times. “She’s picking teams based on the color of her dress, or she’ll pick the Packers because she likes cheese. She just relates these silly little things as reasons why she picks certain teams.”
In the meantime, Donatelli has since made his Instagram private amid the backlash.
