New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs was an open book to the media earlier this week. What he said might have Cardi B on cloud nine.

While the New England Patriots’ wide receiver has his sights set on a Super Bowl ring, reporters wanted to know about another one.

“It’s on the agenda,” Stefon teased reporters about a possible engagement during the Super Bowl Opening Night on Feb. 2. “Maybe, right? I gotta get mine first.”

Before kicking off any wedding plans, Stefon Diggs and Cardi produced a child together. Even if he wanted to marry her, he couldn’t as Cardi is still married to rapper Offset.

Diggs continued about his new love interest. “As a significant other, I really appreciate it,” Stefon emphasized during the media day.

“It’s a level of appreciation because she’s an amazing woman. Being there for me is hard, you can imagine. I’m a lot to deal with, but I never want to not let her know that I appreciate her for being there. Not just for the games, but she supported me when she wasn’t there.”

Cardi B has been his biggest supporter at games, even going after a 4-year-old child in the process.

“She was watching the games,” he added. “She was texting me before the games and after the games and checking on me, making sure that I was alright.”

Dealing with Stefon Diggs means dealing with the number of baby mamas that he currently has. Cardi is currently going through a divorce with rapper Offset, as she is already a mom of four.

Meanwhile, Diggs is a dad to five other kids with five other women. Four of those babies were born in 2025. Diggs faced significant paternity, child support, and legal drama in the past year.

Stefon Diggs is involved in several serious legal matters, including criminal charges, civil lawsuits, and a recently resolved paternity case. In late December 2025, Diggs was charged with felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery.

That matter won’t be handled until after the Super Bowl. Hopefully, he has his head in the right place before he takes the field on Sunday.
