Former Patriots wideout Stefon Diggs is having a hectic 2026.

Months ago, Cardi B and Diggs were the toast of the NFL as the newest “IT” couple. It seemed the lovebirds were going to be inseparable for a long time. For months, that’s exactly how it felt as Cardi showed up to many of his regular-season games.

Unfortunately, their relationship ended just before or during the Super Bowl. Stefon Diggs and Cardi unfollowed each other on Instagram, and not a single picture showed them together at the game. Pictures from the game showed that Diggs had provided tickets to his other baby mothers.

The female rapper confirmed rumors suggesting she dumped the New England Patriots star during the Super Bowl. She performed in San Francisco as part of her “Little Miss Drama Tour.” Without mentioning his name, she seemingly dissed Diggs.

“You can’t be out here playing with a b* like me. There’s n** out here praying for a b* like me,” she claimed. “I’m too sexy to be lonely and too grown to be played with n. Who you playin’ with mothaf***?!”

Now, it seems that his own family doesn’t even have his back.

Cardi B performed at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, on Wednesday, March 4. This was part of her Little Miss Drama Tour.

Thousands of fans showed up to see her perform, and that included Stefon Diggs’ mother. She took to her Instagram story and posted two outfits for fans to vote on. She wanted to know whether she should wear heels or sneakers.

Ouch. It seems Mama Diggs is still a fan of his ex-girlfriend.

In the same week, the New England Patriots released him from the roster. “THANK YOU for a hell of a year,” the 32-year-old posted to Instagram Stories March 4. “We family forever.”

“Until we meet again,” he added, signing off with his jersey number “8.”

He will now be on his fourth team in four years.
