Stephen A Smith watched the Steelers take on the Texans and saw one person on the field who is no longer alive.

Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk had the game of his life at the best possible time. Kirk had a career-high 144 yards on eight catches and a touchdown for the Houston Texans in a 30-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Aaron Rodgers had such a bad night that fans accused them of elder abuse. Much of their damage came after star wideout Nico Collins was carted off after a head injury. The Texans’ Wild Card win was their third in a row. They have advanced to three straight Divisional Round games in franchise history. It’s also their first playoff win on the road in franchise history.

The following day, it was time for the talking heads to speak on the contest. Stephen A Smith and his crew were ready to delve into every aspect of the game.

At one point, Smith wanted to talk about the best wide receiver in that game on Monday night. No, it wasn’t Nico Collins. It certainly wasn’t DK Metcalf who returned from a two-game suspension. It was Christian Kirk. Unfortunately, Smith referred to him as Charlie Kirk.

“We saw Charlie Kirk catch eight receptions for 144 yards,” Stephen A Smith on First Take, talking about the Texans-Steleers game.

In the game, Kirk’s 6-yard touchdown from CJ Stroud was the first in the game. It came in the second quarter to give Houston a 7-3 lead. The touchdown was just his second touchdown this year. He also had big plays of 36, 46, and 33 yards against the Steelers, per ESPN.

Kirk is in his eighth season in the NFL and first with the Texans. Unfortunately, the other Kirk was tragically shot and killed last year while debating students on a campus in Utah.
