The Tennessee Titans prepare to play in a different venue for the 2027 NFL season. The AFC South team has played in Nissan Stadium since August 1999, but they are set to move to a different place.
After a disappointing 2025 season, the Titans look forward to building something meaningful for the future, led by quarterback Cam Ward. They made multiple changes during the offseason, signing Robert Saleh as head coach, while adding Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator to develop Ward.
Additionally, they made a bunch of roster moves to be in a position to compete next season. On top of that, they continue to work to give the players and the fans a top stadium. On Tuesday, Titans beat writer Easton Freeze shared a video showing the interior of the new Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee Titans Have Major Expectations for the New Nissan Stadium

Just like the Buffalo Bills, the Tennessee Titans are making moves to give fans a better experience. They announced the new stadium with a message highlighting their ambitious plans. It will host some of the biggest events in American major sports.
“As the team and city eye the next era of that relationship, the Titans are recommitting to its home through a new, long-term lease in a new, enclosed stadium nestled along the East Bank of the Cumberland River.
“The New Nissan Stadium would host Titans games, TSU football games and community activities, and also aim to attract the world’s largest and most prestigious events such as Super Bowls, Final Fours, College Football Playoffs and Wrestlemanias,” the Titans wrote.
The stadium will open next February. The team could enter the new venue with high expectations or the same issues they faced during 2025.
