The Maxx Crosby saga doesn’t seem to be coming to an end soon. The Las Vegas Raiders star appeared set to join the Baltimore Ravens after the AFC North team sent two first-round picks to the Raiders for the defensive end.
Baltimore backed out of the trade due to a health issue with Crosby, sending him back to Las Vegas and getting their two first-rounders back. They pivoted to Trey Hendrickson as their defense’s cornerstone.
Several teams could make another run at Crosby in the coming months, including the Buffalo Bills. They showed interet in the five-time Pro Bowler before the Raiders snatched him away.
Buffalo Bills Could Get Another Shot At Maxx Crosby

According to insider Adam Schefter, the Raiders’ offseason moves and coaching changes convinced Maxx Crosby to run it back in 2026. The imminent addition of quarterback Fernando Mendoza would add more expectations.
SI’s Albert Breer noted that, if the Raiders’ rebuild doesn’t work as expected, the team could revisit the idea of trading Crosby during the season.
“If he’s going to be traded, I think it’s going to have to come after Maxx Crosby gets back on the field and plays really well,” Breer said on The MMQB NFL Podcast. “So people will forget about everything that just happened.”
Buffalo reportedly offered a low first-rounder to the Raiders. They went with the Ravens’ offer and sealed the deal. The Bills could be back in the mix again, but they would need to give up significant draft capital.
