The New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will face off against each other in Super Bowl 60, trying to add another Vince Lombardi Trophy to their cabinets. Levi’s Stadium will host the two teams in a rematch of the exciting Super Bowl 49 that was decided in the last play.

While some think the NFL rigged this game, others are betting huge amounts of money on these teams to leave San Francisco with the championship. One of them will prepare for a major change ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

The Patriots will become the biggest Super Bowl winner with a win on Feb. 8, sitting with seven titles, one over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Seahawks would win their second championship, over 10 years since they became first-time Super Bowl champions.

Seth Wickersham and Brady Henderson of ESPN reported on Friday that the Seattle Seahawks will go up for sale after Super Bowl 60. The management came to the conclusion after former owner Paul G. Allen died in 2018.

Paul’s sister, Jody Allen, has controlled the Seahawks and the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers as the executor of Allen’s trust. Her brother directed her to eventually sell both teams and donate the proceeds to charity.

The Seahawks could fetch $7 billion to $8 billion, according to one executive. Paul Allen agreed to buy the team from Ken Behring in 1996, a move that kept the team in Seattle and prevented a relocation to Southern California.
