Taylor Rooks Shocks Everyone By Revealing the Two Football Superstars She Babysat Before Skyrocketing to Sports Media Fame

Taylor Rooks recently made a surprising revelation regarding her past.

Rooks is now one of the most popular sportscasters in the business, having risen to prominence in NBA and NFL media. She’s currently a host for Prime Video’s sports department and is widely known for her interviews with the biggest names in sports. 

The Georgia native is only 33 years old. However, she has been rubbing shoulders with star athletes for a long time, some of whom she has dated since infancy.

Rooks is as popular among athletes as she is among fans. She recently went viral for wearing a tight-fitting dress to an NBA Cup game. Her John Wall temptation wasn’t lost on social media either. 

She also has deep-rooted football connections, which likely began with diaper changes. 

Rooks recently revealed that she used to babysit Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs and his brother Caleb. 

Taylor Rooks Can’t Believe How Quickly Time’s Flown By

Josh was a third-round pick by the Colts in 2023, while Caleb is on his way to the pros. The 21-year-old safety has had an illustrious career at Alabama and Ohio State and has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. 

Taylor Rooks took to social media this week to disclose that she had been a longtime babysitter for the brothers, marveling at how quickly time had gone by.

Rooks and the Downs brothers all grew up in Georgia. 

She was also a guest on their podcast, where she recalled how different Josh and Caleb were as kids.

“What I do remember about Caleb, he was just the sweetest little baby. And like, you’ve probably heard this before, but he always wanted to be held. He would cuddle. He was just such a nice baby. Now Josh, of course, older. I’m not going to say Josh was bad because that’s not what it was, but Josh had energy. Josh wanted to get his way. Josh was full of personality,” she said.
