‘The Blind Side’ actor Quinton Aaron is fighting for his life at hospital.
Aaron, who played former NFL tackle Michael Oher in the film, is reportedly on life support. This is as a result of his collapsing at his home.
His wife, Margarita, told TMZ the actor was partially breathing on his own, and the medical devices keeping him alive aren’t doing all the work. Hence, the family remains hopeful.
“We’re told Quinton’s been hospitalized for 4 days now … and with each passing day, he shows more signs of improvement,” the outlet reported on Monday.
According to Aaron’s wife, he’s dealing with a blood infection. As of Monday, doctors were still running tests to determine the cause.
Margarita said her husband woke up sore one morning and assumed it was due to poor sleep. He continued to feel pain in his neck and back. He later lost feeling in his legs while walking up the stairs.
Quinton Aaron Gives Thumbs Up

Quinton Aaron’s wife, a registered nurse, helped him up the stairs before calling 911. She said he was slipping in and out of consciousness on his way to the hospital.
Doctors recommended life support once they got there.
“He’s showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered,” Margarita said, referring to her husband as “a fighter.”
“He opened his eyes today and gave a thumbs up,” she later told TMZ.
Oher was involved in a nasty dispute with the Tuohy family back in 2023. He accused the family of using a conservatorship that allowed them to profit from his name, image and likeness while never actually adopting him.
Sandra Bullock, who played Leigh Anne Tuohy in the movie, said she was heartbroken over the feud.
We wish Quinton a speedy recovery.
