The Philadelphia Eagles Have Leaked Tape From Jalen Hurts’ 2020 NFL Scouting Combine Interview [VIDEO]
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

Jalen Hurts is an established NFL starter.
But back in early 2020, he was just a wet-behind-the-ears prospect looking to make an impression and, hopefully, get a professional career off the ground.
The Eagles interviewed Hurts after his exploits at Alabama and Oklahoma and were impressed enough to use a second-round pick on him despite having Carson Wentz.
They released his full interview three years later, and it’s gone viral again amid this year’s NFL Combine.
Asked how he was dealing with how fast things were moving at the event, Hurts said that “It’s something that everybody has to go through.”
“I’m just hitting it headfirst,” he added.
“Coach, I’m a difference maker,” he said after being asked why the Eagles should draft him. “I’ve been able to submit myself in two prestigious programs, and for some odd reason, people follow me everywhere I’ve been.”
“I don’t go into places saying, ‘Hey, y’all gotta follow me.’ That’s earned, not given,” he said on leadership.
Eagles Fans Thought The Team Released Jalen Hurts

MLFootball reshared the interview this weekend, but fooled a few people with their caption.
“The Philadelphia #Eagles released star quarterback Jalen Hurts full unedited pre-draft interview from the 2020 #NFL combine,” it reads.
Folks who saw it in their notifications thought the Eagles had released Hurts, as wild as that would be. Maybe they left that apostrophe out on purpose?

The Eagles selected Hurts as the 53rd overall pick in 2020, signing him to a $6.03 million deal. He has since led them to two Super Bowls, winning one. A three-time Pro Bowler, he was also the Super Bowl MVP in 2024.
They should have little in the way of regret.
