Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have tied the knot in an expensive affair likely costing more than what the Chiefs star has made over the past two seasons.
The power couple made their union official in lavish nuptials at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday.
Celebrity event designer Edward Perotti told PEOPLE the ceremony likely cost between $35 million and $50 million.
That figure covers everything from venue rental and staging to florals, lighting, catering, transportation, and the army of union workers required to run Madison Square Garden.
“Most stadiums are union houses,” Perotti explained. “You have to navigate the workers, and you have to pay them. There’s a snowball effect most people don’t think about.”
Travis Kelce Married Just The Right Person For Such A Wedding

Roughly 1,000 attendees filled MSG for Travis and Taylor’s big day, including celebrities from sports, music, and Hollywood. Security was tight, logistics were complicated, but every detail was tailored to the couple’s vision, including a special performance by a star actor.
Kelce’s two‑year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2024 to 2025 earned him about $34 million.
As such, the wedding bill alone could eclipse his entire recent salary. Luckily, marrying a global superstar worth well over a billion dollars makes that kind of expense manageable.
The star tight end has since secured a new three-year, $57.7 million contract running until 2028.
