The Worst Play In NFL History Has Been Complete [VIDEO]

The Minnesota Vikings have been struggling with quarterback play all of 2025, and things only got worse on Sunday.
Minnesota, which had to watch as JJ McCarthy sacked himself on a play against the Packers last week, announced on Friday that undrafted rookie Max Brosmer would start Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with McCarthy still in the league’s concussion protocol.
Down 3-0 in the second quarter and facing a 4th-and-1 in the end zone, the Vikings decided that they would go for it. That was a bad decision for many reasons.
Less than a second after hiking the ball, Brosmer found himself running for his life as a Seahawks defender chased him all the way back to the 25-yard line.

Instead of just taking the sack, the young Vikings quarterback tossed the ball right to a Seahawks defender who returned it for a pick-6.
With McCarthy still in concussion protocol, the team went out and signed quarterback Desmond Ridder to their practice squad.
The Vikings’ medical staff placed him in the protocol once the team returned to Minnesota.
“It had to be late, based upon how the game went,” O’Connell said.
The Vikings are the fifth team to start three different quarterbacks this season.
