Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson just ensured his place in NFL blooper reels for years to come.
With the seventh seed clinched, the Packers rested star running back Josh Jacobs. Third-stringer Clayton Tune got the start for the regular-season finale, with Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks getting most of the carries.
Facing a 1st-and-10 situation late in the second quarter, Tune handed the ball off to Wilson. With two Vikings defenders meeting him in the backfield, a desperate Wilson kept running backwards in hopes of finding room.
But the Vikings’ defense stayed with Wilson the entire way, dropping him for an 18-yard loss on the play:

Per ESPN, Emanuel Wilson entered this game with 452 rushing yards, three touchdowns and 95 receiving yards. Last season, he tallied a career-high 502 rushing yards and four touchdowns as Jacobs’ understudy.
Green Bay will either visit the Chicago Bears or Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card Round. Jordan Love is 0-3 against the Eagles, and the Packers split the season series with the Bears this year.
