Travis Hunter Used The Nastiest Trick To Fool CJ Stroud Into An Interception — Now He’s Telling His Secret [VIDEO]

Travis Hunter continues to make noise in the 2026 NFL season. The cornerback/wide receiver returned to action after a knee injury cut his rookie season short and he hasn’t lost a step.
Hunter turned a lot of heads earlier this month when he snatched Tee Higgins’ ankles after an interception. More recently, he picked CJ Stroud in the end zone. The former Ohio State quarterback threw the ball right at Hunter, who picked the ball easily.
As soon as the play went viral, fans recalled that Hunter revealed he does a fake stumble to fool quarterbacks into throwing his way. Stroud apparently didn’t hear about it or directly forgot about Hunter’s trick.

Travis Hunter Did Something No NFL Player Had Done in 24 Years

Despite the loss, Hunter had a solid second game in London. As a wide receiver, he grabbed four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
Even though those aren’t spectacular numbers, Hunter recorded an interception and a reception in the same game as a pro for the first time. Additionally, he became the fifth player since 1960 to record an interception and a touchdown pass in the same game.
The last player who did it was Hall of Famer Brian Dawkins for the Philadelphia Eagles in a Sept. 29, 2002, win against the Houston Texans, ironically.
Jacksonville dropped to 4-2 after Sunday’s loss. They will return to action on Nov. 1, hoping to bounce back against the Indianapolis Colts.
