Travis Kelce Reveals He Had Surprising Job Linked To Barack Obama Before Getting Drafted By Chiefs

Travis Kelce became one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history during his storied tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs. The playmaker has won everything he could during his 12-year stint with the Chiefs, even missing the playoffs when his team entered the season as Super Bowl contenders.
Before rising to stardom, breaking multiple records and winning three Super Bowls with Kansas City, the tight end had a regular job.
Believe it or not, before getting engaged to Taylor Swift and becoming one of the best players in Chiefs history, Kelce worked as a telemarketer. His job wasn’t regular, as he worked under one of former President Barack Obama’s biggest plans.
Travis Kelce Says He Was A Telemarketer For Obamacare

During the latest edition of his joint “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce and his brother Jason had the cast of “Workaholics,” an American sitcom about three college friends who work together as telemarketers. The tight end took the opportunity to talk about his old job.
“Are you aware that there’s another telemarketer with a past in this room?” Kelce asked.
After one of the actors showed their surprise, Kelce admitted he wasn’t the best at his job at all. He took it after being thrown off the team for smoking weed.
“I was the worst telemarketer in the f***ing world,” he then said. “I was slinging surveys for Obamacare.”
He returned to the field, had two solid seasons and earned a spot in the NFL. The Chiefs took him with the No. 63 pick in 2013, and the rest was history.
