Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce accidentally hit a fan in the head with one of his shots during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Friday.

Travis Kelce competed at the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, featuring appearances from other celebrities like ex-Pro Bowl quarterback Alex Smith (a former teammate of Kelce’s), Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth owner Ryan Smith and country music star Jake Owen.

According to Josh Copitch of KSBW, Kelce accidentally hit a spectator in the head with his tee shot on the 18th hole. The woman, identified as Edenne Flinn, appeared to be okay and reportedly got an autograph from the All-Pro tight end.

Video footage of Kelce checking on Flinn went viral on TikTok:

Oddly, this isn’t the first golfing mishap involving Travis Kelce and a fan. During a 2024 tournament in Lake Tahoe, his shot accidentally hit a female spectator in the back of the head. Thankfully, she also avoided a serious injury.

It’s been more than a month since the Chiefs’ 2025 season ended. Fans, however, continue to await an announcement from Kelce.

He has yet to announce if he’ll retire or continue playing in 2026. Kelce indicated the latter during a “New Heights” episode last month, but hasn’t provided any additional hints ever since.

The 36-year-old finished last season with 76 receptions for 851 yards and five touchdowns. If Patrick Mahomes didn’t suffer a season-ending leg injury, Kelce might have returned to his 1,000-yard form.
