Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Have Reportedly Canceled Wedding Party

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have canceled their wedding party.

TMZ Sports is reporting that the soon-to-be newlyweds ultimately decided against hosting their post-nuptial soiree at a certain Rhode Island venue. 

It’s now well known that the Kansas City Chiefs star and pop sensation are throwing a party at Madison Square Garden. However, the basketball Mecca, as it’s known, was not their first choice. 

Reports also note that they are refusing to invite two big-name celebrities. 

TMZ says the Ocean House resort in Rhode Island was the original venue. They also cite sources that claim that Travis and Taylor booked for June 13.

“We’ve done some digging, and found out a big ol’ fireworks show was planned as part of the reception,” TMZ reports. 

“But in mid-May, the fireworks company handling the show got word the event was canceled and had been moved to New York. As for why, we’re told the couple bailed after word got out about the venue,” they continued.

Are Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Already Married?

TMZ also previously reported that the couple will host their wedding bash for family and friends at MSG on July 3. They’re reportedly paying an arm and a leg, as one would expect.

“It’s looking increasingly likely the nuptials will not take place at the Garden, but somewhere more intimate,” TMZ adds. 

The outlet is also speculating on whether Taylor Swift has already secretly become Mrs. Travis Kelce. 

“Typically, when the wedding is separate from the reception, the wedding takes place first. If Taylor and Travis had planned to celebrate on June 13th, was there already a wedding ceremony in place, and if so … have they already tied the knot?”

According to TMZ, there’s been lots of activity at Taylor’s Rhode Island mansion lately, but only women have been spotted.
