Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting closer to their wedding date. The dynamic couple announced their engagement in August 2025 via a joint Instagram post featuring photos from a floral garden proposal.
The post featured the caption “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Although they told the world in August, Ed Kelce, Travis’s father, revealed that it occurred roughly two weeks prior to the public announcement.
Multiple reports have stated that Swift and Kelce are planning a wedding in Rhode Island. The ceremony is expected to take place at either her Watch Hill mansion or the nearby luxurious Ocean House in Westerly.
For such a huge football star and mega pop sensation, everybody would want to be in attendance for the nuptials. However, not everyone will be able to see Taylor Swift marry Travis Kelce. So, who’s coming?

US Weekly knows who will be watching Swift and Kelce tie the knot over the summer. According to the report, Swift and Kelce will be getting married on Saturday, June 13, in Rhode Island.
The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding [will be split between the venues],” a source told US Weekly.
“They feel confident hosting it [in Rhode Island]. The entire area will be very private and guarded.”
Us Weekly states that Kelce and Swift have reportedly invited 150 people to their wedding. Us Weekly reported that Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz, and Emma Stone should be at the wedding to support Swift.
As for Kelce, he’s expected to have Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and possibly a number of other Chiefs’ players.
“They’ve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private,” a second source told Us Weekly.
“As of now, they’ve scaled it down. It’s no longer going to be a massive blowout.”
The big day might be so intimate that Swift and Kelce “aren’t even sure they will” send formal invitations by mail to ensure their privacy. They can try and hide as much as they can, but it will unfortunately surface at some point.
