Travis Kelce Turns Heads With Locker Room Behavior After Season Finale

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce might be ready to ride into the sunset. Kelce, who already has some Hollywood plans lined up after retirement, played his final game of the season on Sunday. Unfortunately, he didn’t go out with the bang he expected, as the Las Vegas Raiders got the best of his team with a meaningless 14-12 loss.
However, Kelce didn’t look sad after the game. If anything, he seemed relieved and at peace. At least, that’s how Jesse Newell of The Athletic would describe him.
Apparently, everybody in the locker room rallied to greet and hug him after the loss. Even Backstreet Boys star Kevin Robinson was reportedly there to show him some love:
“Kelce’s corner locker in the visiting clubhouse nearly had the appearance of a wedding receiving line,” Newell wrote.
Kelce finished the game with three catches on six targets for 12 yards. That was just enough to become the third tight end in NFL history with at least 13,000 receiving yards. Then, when asked about his plans for the future, he was non-committal about this being the end of the line:
“I mean, who knows? Who knows? Either it hits me quick, or I’ve got to take some time,” Kelce said. “I think last year was a little bit easier. I think I knew right away I wanted to give this one a shot. So we’ll see.”
Travis Kelce Still Believes In The Chiefs

The Chiefs finished the season with a 6-11 record, the worst in Kelce’s career. Even so, he still believes that he can perform at a high level. If he does decide to return, he vowed to do better after being on the wrong end of some tough breaks this season:
“Obviously, we didn’t do as well as a team, but I felt like I came into the season prepared and ready to rock and roll with the right intentions,” Kelce said. “The ball just didn’t go our way in a lot of those close games, unfortunately. And I think if I do choose to come back, that’s something I’ve really got to focus on, making sure that I’m available and I’m ready for those moments.”
Then again, if this was, in fact, the end of the line, he should feel more than satisfied. He closed out the season with 76 catches on 108 targets for 851 yards and five touchdowns.
Moreover, he has 13,002 receiving yards and 82 receiving touchdowns. He’s a three-time Super Bowl champion, ten-time Pro-Bowler, seven-time All-Pro, Pro-Bowl MVP, and a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade team.
If that wasn’t enough, Kelce owns multiple records, including the most postseason receptions (172) and Super Bowl receptions (35).
