Troy Aikman took a pregame walk to the field in Philadelphia before Monday Night Football.
The ESPN analyst joined longtime partner Joe Buck to call the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles. A reported argument between Aikman and Buck is thought to have confirmed that this season will be their last together.
Journalist Patrik Walker shared a video on X of Aikman speaking with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Walker describes “a very, very lengthy conversation” that “lasted nearly 10 mins.”

“I want Aikman for our general manager with full control no interference by Jerry and no more press conferences or interviews with Jerry everything needs to be Aikman as the face of the franchise and making all decisions,” one fan commented.

Aikman’s ESPN contract expires after the Super Bowl, according to Front Office Sports. Jones has said Aikman is “very capable” of working in a front office.
Aikman, on the other hand, told Cowboys Roundtable he would “have a hard time not taking a good look at that.”
