Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders remains a polarizing figure in the NFL. He has made a strong impression with the team. The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback has been a popular topic in the NFL since he went from being consider a top-20 draft pick to go all the way to the fifth round.

As he enters his first full NFL offseason, Sanders will play under his second head coach. Todd Monken replaced Kevin Stefanski on the Browns. They will likely hold a competition to see who starts at quarterback in 2026, but Sanders continues to make noise with his off-field actions.

On Wednesday, Monken revealed that Sanders gifted him a porcelain horse head for his 60th birthday.

“I asked him, ‘What was the meaning?’” Monken said. “And he just said, ‘Well, I really liked it. I got myself one.’ Well, great.”

Many fans likened Shedeur Sanders’ gesture with Monken to “The Godfather” movie, where a head horse was placed in the bed of a Hollywood producer. This, as an attempt to get a character a play in a movie.

“I see you SS,” on fan said.

“I remember the good old days when sending someone a severed horse head actually meant something,” another fan said.

“Shedeur sending a message?” a third fan said.

The Browns have plenty of questions to answer this offseason. However, you can’t deny that they make things fun in the meantime.
