If you’re attending the Philadelphia Eagles’ Black Friday game against the Chicago Bears at Lincoln Financial Field, you may want to pack a couple of extra jackets.

With December quickly approaching, the weather is going to get even colder. That means fans attending games in outdoor stadiums will want to wear extra layers for the remainder of the football season.

The forecast for the San Francisco 49ers-Cleveland Browns game at Huntington Bank Field is expected to be below 40 degrees with a chance of rain and snow. But that’s not the only outdoor game that’s calling for freezing conditions on Sunday.

The Weather Channel’s forecast for Friday’s game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears is 42 degrees during the day with 20 MPH winds. In the evening, the forecast calls for 31 degrees with winds finally calming down once the game is over.

This year marks the NFL’s third Black Friday Game on Amazon Prime Video. The Miami Dolphins beat the New York Jets 34-13 in the first game two years ago, with the Kansas City Chiefs defeating the Las Vegas Raiders 19-17 in last season’s showdown.

Plenty At Stake In Philadelphia Eagles-Chicago Bears Clash

The Eagles may be the defending Super Bowl champions with a good 8-3 record, but it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows this year. There have been numerous reports about a fractured relationship between quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown, who are both playing below their standards.

Philadelphia is one game behind the NFC-leading Los Angeles Rams for the top seed, but they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. An Eagles victory and a Rams loss to the Carolina Panthers would put Philly back in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 seed.

But if the 7-3 Bears win, they’ll hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over Philadelphia. Of course, Chicago has to be more concerned about holding off the 7-3-1 Green Bay Packers and 7-4 Detroit Lions for first in the NFC North.
