White House Savagely Trolled Travis Kelce After He Was Named A Victim Of $35-Million Ponzi Scheme
This article was originally published on Total Pro Sports.

Travis Kelce was named as one of the victims of a massive Ponzi scheme earlier this week. While the amount he has invested has not been publicly disclosed, pundits have already mocked the Chiefs’ veteran tight end online.
Kelce’s inclusion was a surprise to everyone when the news broke. However, aside from being named as one of the victims, no additional information has been provided.
For now, the public knows that the Kansas City TE and several others were defrauded by Siddharth ‘Sid’ Jawahar. The man behind the Ponzi scheme was described as an illegal immigrant from India without legal status in the U.S. since 2005.
White House Trolled Travis Kelce’s Involvement

Kelce was an investor in the Swiftarc Ventures Lab Fund. The business was reportedly set up by Jawahar. The suspect already pleaded guilty to federal wire fraud charges earlier this year.
The White House, sensing an opportunity to flex what one of its government agencies has done, decided to troll Travis Kelce on its X account.
“This is why we do what we do. Seems like a good time to re-up the work of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud: identifying fraud & protecting Americans,” according to their post.
“Oh and it looks like the next draft pick to join the Task Force is @tkelce!”

How Was Kelce Defrauded In The Ponzi Scheme

It was the prosecutors in a St. Louis federal courtroom who named Travis Kelce as one of the victims of the Ponzi scheme. It was alleged that Jawahar collected millions of dollars from investors between 2016 and 2023.
But instead of actually investing it, Jawahar used the money to pay off his debts. Moreover, he used the funds for his personal benefit, maintaining a lavish lifestyle.
Furthermore, it was reported that Jawahar used the investors’ money to buy stock for Philip Morris Pakistan. 99% of his clients’ money, presumably including Travis Kelce’s, was concentrated heavily in that lone company.
However, of the $35 million, only $10 million was legitimately invested. Jawahar allegedly pocketed the rest. He was sentenced to an 11-year prison term.
It’s unclear when Kelce will recoup his investment. But right now, he’s doing everything he can to make the Chiefs contenders again.
