A crazy pre-game broke out between the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, and “Big Dom” was stuck right in the middle.

Big Dom, real name Dom DiSandro, has been part of the Eagles’ organization since 1999. He serves as their chief security officer, a senior advisor to the general manager (Howie Roseman) and the director of gameday operations.

And let’s just say that DiSandro really had to earn his paycheck for today’s game. Before kickoff for the Wild Card Game at Lincoln Financial Field, Dom had to step in and break up a pre-game brouhaha:

Here’s a close-up video of Big Dom having to keep the peace between the two rival clubs:

This is especially noteworthy for one obvious reason. The last time the 49ers played in Philly was in December 2023. Dom got into a scuffle with then-49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw and was suspended for the remainder of the regular season.

At least DiSandro wasn’t an instigator, but rather the peacekeeper here. The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers could have used him to stop their pre-game brawl on Saturday.
