Nikki Bella says her love life is currently on pause. The WWE star opened up to Us Weekly ahead of SummerSlam.
She joked that she has become “like a nun.”
“I’m pretty much like a nun at this point. Super celibate. I should just put on a ring,” she told US Weekly.
“I wish I was out there getting wild. I just don’t have energy for it.”
Her schedule explains the choice. She unretired from WWE this year. She also runs a wine company and podcast with twin sister, Brie. She is a single mom to five-year-old Matteo.
Nikki Bella Focuses on Career Over Dating

The wrestler shares custody of her son with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev. The couple married for about two years. They separated in August 2024 after his domestic violence arrest. Prosecutors did not pursue charges. They settled the divorce later that fall.
Nikki was most recently linked to Philadelphia Eagles defensive back Cooper DeJean. The pair went on dates earlier this year. Reports first surfaced in January. They have not been spotted together for months.
Her sister Brie has tried to encourage her to date again. Brie still keeps an eye out for possible matches. She admits Nikki remains very busy.
“She’s too busy, and I get it,” Brie said. “Matteo is her world right now. She’s like, ‘I have no time between being on the road, our wine company and our podcast, and then Matteo. I try. But she’s like, ‘No, no.’ This is the thing with her: If she has a free night, she wants to Netflix and chill. She’s like, ‘I don’t want to go on a date. I don’t have to dress up.’”
Why Nikki Bella Chose Celibacy Right Now

The Total Bellas alum prioritizes her return to the ring. She teams with Brie and Paige this weekend at SummerSlam. They face Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag match.
Her plate is full with wrestling, business and motherhood. That leaves little room for romance.
Nikki has stayed open about her journey since the divorce. She now chooses to protect her energy. The focus stays on family, work and the ring.
She heads into SummerSlam with clear priorities. Romance can wait while she handles everything else on her plate.
