As Bad Bunny and his fellow artists performed at Levi’s Stadium, the conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA held an alternative halftime show, featuring Kid Rock.

Bad Bunny delivered a triumphant celebration of Latin music at the NFL Super Bowl LX official halftime show, and he drew an insane number of viewers. However, while it was taking place, Turning Point USA was also receiving millions of viewers.

Not everybody cared to watch the all-country show. Zach Bryan was one of them.

Bad Bunny headlined the actual Super Bowl halftime show at Levi’s Stadium, California on Sunday night. In response to his Super Bowl headline slot, Turning Point USA, founded by the late Charlie Kirk, decided to create their own halftime show instead. It included country rock singer Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

Fellow country singer Bryan took to his Instagram story to poke fun at the whole concept. The former US Navy veteran shared a joke video of a friend watching the Turning Point show on his phone. The friend then used his spare hand to shield himself from Bad Bunny’s performance on the main TV screen.

“What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America,” Bryan wrote as the caption.

The 29-year-old received angry messages in response. Bryan posted these to his Stories as he issued his own reply. He captioned the screenshot: “Bro, the irony in how upset a bunch of middle-aged douchebags are in my DMs this morning hahahahah.”
