Sunday’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots was as good as everyone thought it would be.

It was a back-and-forth contest between both teams in each quarter, with the outcome undecided until the final few minutes.

As with any game around the league, there is always a fear that opposing fans might take things too far in the stands, and violence can occur.

In September, a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan found himself being jumped after playing the shell gambling game outside the stadium.

Patriots fans are not any better, as female Patriots fans were once caught tumbling over seats just to brawl with other fans.

Inside Raymond James Stadium, one Bucs fan found himself with the numbers on his side, but he ended up all by himself as he apparently got beaten up by a lone New England fan.

Fan footage shows that the Bucs fan is already on the ground, and stadium security is trying to detain him as others eventually come running in. At the same time that was happening, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was on the field making his day even worse as he dropped a dime that almost went for a touchdown.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has his team rolling in 2025.

On Sunday, Maye threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns. Things almost ended tragically when he attempted to fit a pass into a tight window to Mack Hollins, but Tykee Smith was able to step in front for the interception.

Luckily, the defense had his back, and they stopped the Buccaneers on fourth down on their ensuing possession just outside of the red zone.

The win moved New England to 8-2 this season, keeping them atop the AFC East as one of the most surprising teams of the 2025 NFL season.

Maye addresses the media after the game, saying, “I’m so proud of this team. Every week we’re fighting.”

Maye has quickly emerged as one of the most efficient passers in the league this season, throwing for 2,555 passing yards, 19 passing touchdowns, and five interceptions across 10 games played.
