Social Media Detectives Think They’ve Uncovered Evidence That The Super Bowl 60 Champion Has Already Been Decided

Some observant social media detectives believe they’ve uncovered compelling evidence suggesting the winner of Super Bowl 60 has already been decided.
It’s been a long time since the race for the Super Bowl has been this wide open in December. 12 teams are above .500 by four or more games, and even the 7-5 Detroit Lions, 6-6 Baltimore Ravens and 7-5 Houston Texans shouldn’t be counted out in the quest for Super Bowl 60.
The New England Patriots hold the best record in football at 11-2 heading into their Week 14 bye. They are followed by the 10-2 Denver Broncos, 9-3 Chicago Bears, 9-3 Los Angeles Rams, 9-3 Seattle Seahawks, 8-3-1 Green Bay Packers and 9-4 San Francisco 49ers.
But if history repeats itself, the winner of Super Bowl 60 will be none other than Sean Payton’s surprising Broncos. Here’s the evidence that some fans discovered:

A little follow-up here from Zac Stevens:
Since 1997, the Broncos have started 10-2 or better just five times, including this year.
Three of those times, they went on to win the Super Bowl (1997, 1998, 2015).
The fourth time, they had the best offense in NFL history with Peyton Manning in 2013.

The Bo Nix-led Broncos have sure been resilient this year, winning nine straight games despite potentially losing star running back J.K. Dobbins for the rest of the season. However, there’s plenty of football to be played, so don’t go crowning your Super Bowl champion just yet.
Denver Broncos Have The Pieces To Win Super Bowl 60

ESPN’s latest projections give the Broncos the third-best odds of winning Super Bowl 60 at 8.7, behind only the Los Angeles Rams (14.1) and Green Bay Packers (14.1). Obviously, their chances will significantly increase if they can overtake the Pats for the top spot in the AFC.
The bottom line is that the Broncos have the pieces to win Super Bowl 60. They have arguably the best defense in the NFL. The unit is led by the league’s top pass rush and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Patrick Surtain II.
Bo Nix isn’t playing lights-out by any means, but he’s saving his best for clutch moments. Courtland Sutton, Evan Engram and R.J. Harvey have been good enough as his main playmakers, too.
One more interesting note: The Broncos won Super Bowl 50 at the 49ers’ home venue of Levi’s Stadium. Super Bowl 60 is being played at Levi’s Stadium.
