Jalen Hurts’ Double Turnover Play Broke ESPN’s ‘Monsters Inc.’ Alternate Broadcast Of The Game [VIDEO]

Jalen Hurts made some unwanted history on Monday night, and it caused ESPN’s alternate cast to go bonkers.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to SoFi Stadium got the animated cast treatment, so something was bound to go wrong.
The game was available to watch as a regular ‘Monday Night Football’ broadcast on ESPN. However, fans looking for a twist could switch to the ‘Monsters Inc.’ alternate cast on ESPN2, Disney+, and other platforms.
Typically, the cast characters mimic whatever happens on the field. As viewers found out on Monday, that is not always the case.
It appears the Monsters were not ready for a triple-turnover play. They simply could not handle the overload.
Hurts was responsible for two of the three turnovers. His pass was intercepted, the defender fumbled the ball, and he somehow got hold of it again.
What should have been a sigh of relief for the Eagles turned into more comedy. Why? Because Hurts fumbled the ball, breaking the cast as a result.

Sadly for Jalen Hurts, he became the first player since 1978 to turn the ball over twice in one play. He’s also the first quarterback ever to do so.
The Philly QB always says it’s all about wins for him, so he probably won’t mind if the Eagles pull through.
