The NFL’s Week 17 can have huge ramifications for several teams trying to make it to the playoffs, stay in the race for a spot in the postseason or to clinch a division title. Several franchises enter this week with a lot at stake, but they aren’t the only ones with extra motivation to dominate.

With the Detroit Lions out of playoff contention after losing to the Minnesota Vikings, 23-10, on Thursday, the Green Bay Packers don’t carry the pressure of having to beat the Baltimore Ravens anymore. However, the Ravens need to win to stay in the race for the AFC North title after losing to the New England Patriots in Week 16.

The Buffalo Bills will try to stay close to the Patriots in the AFC East, but they will take on the defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, in one of the best duels of the weekend.

There is a lot at stake for these teams, but some of their players will have the chance to go home with a bigger check if they accomplish certain numbers during the second-to-last week of the season.

Max Loeb of the “Honor the Land” show named seven players who could cash bonuses this week. The star-studded list includes superstars such as Saquon Barkley, Stefon Diggs and Keenan Allen, to players who improved their level in 2025, such as Hunter Henry and Rico Dowdle.

  • Khalil Shakir (Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles): $150,000 bonus with one touchdown, $150,000 more with another touchdown.
  • Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills ): $155,000 bonus if he records 155 scrimmage yards.
  • Kennan Allen (Los Angeles Chargers vs. Houston Texans): $750,000 if he catches seven passes, $250,000 with 26 yards receiving.
  • Rico Dowdle (Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks): $1 million with 70 scrimmage yards.
  • Stefon Diggs (New England Patriots vs. New York Jets): $500,000 with four catches, $500,000 more with 131 yards.
  • Hunter Henry (New England Patriots vs. New York Jets): $250,000 with three catches, $250,000 more with eight catches and $250,000 more with 13 catches. He could leave the game with $750,000 in bonuses.

Add it all up, and that’s $4,205,000 total in bonuses.

Mack Hollins was the seventh player mentioned on this list, but he has since been ruled out for the Patriots’ clash against the Jets. The 32-year-old wideout is just four catches away from earning an extra $400,000.
