CBS Sports NFL reporter Tracy Wolfson shared more details on Bo Nix’s season-ending injury following their postgame interview.

Minutes after the Denver Broncos’ thrilling 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, news emerged that Bo Nix suffered a broken bone in his ankle and will miss the season.

With Nix done for the season, Denver signed veteran Ben DiNucci to its practice squad. Veteran backup Jarrett Stidham will be the starting quarterback for the AFC Championship Game.

After the game, Tracy Wolfson provided more details on Bo Nix’s injury. She shared a photo of their interview, noting that Nix wasn’t putting any weight on his right ankle.

Wolfson added that before the interview, Nix told her he was feeling okay. She asked Nix why he wasn’t smiling, and the second-year quarterback cited the stress of the football game.

Per ESPN, Nix completed 26 pass attempts for 279 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He had a team-leading 29 rushing yards as well, leading Denver to its first playoff win in a decade.
