Deion Sanders Is Receiving Big-Time Endorsement For One NFL Head Coaching Job [VIDEO]

There are calls for the Cleveland Browns to interview Deion Sanders for their head coaching vacancy.
The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski after their last game of the season and are eager to hire a new HC. However, their search isn’t going all that well.
While Stefanski has already secured a new job, multiple candidates have rejected Cleveland. The likes of former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel and Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski are among prospective hires to have spurned their advances.
According to reports, former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken remains a top choice. Los Angeles Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase and their own defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz are the other two.
Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith has discussed the possibility of Sanders possibly landing the job.
Smith backed Coach Prime for the Browns opening, despite admitting he probably does not deserve it, given his record at Colorado.
“Deion Sanders is my brother. We go back a long ways. This is the most accurate and fair way to put it: I hope this happens for him. His resume doesn’t warrant it,” Smith said on ‘First Take’.
He continued…
“That is the reality. Yes, you were 27-6 in leading Jackson State to consecutive SWAC titles and a 12-1 record in 2022. Yes, you had a winning season with Shedeur Sanders last year in Colorado, 9-4. You have two losing seasons. You were like 4-8 or whatever it was the first year there. You were 3-9 last season. So, you had two losing seasons in the three years that you were there.”

Still, there were fans who reckon hiring Deion wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
Someone wondered, “If other coaches are turning down the job and cancelling interviews then why not interview Deion Sanders.”

“Took over a 1-11 team. First year improved that by 3 wins. Second year increased by another 6 wins. Why do people not tell the context of anything Colorado related?“ another comment read.

Should this materialize, it would be hard to imagine Shedeur Sanders not starting for the Browns next season. The quarterback was named to the AFC Pro Bowl squad this week and got three wins as a starter in his rookie season.
Of course, such a reunion is unlikely, but crazier things have happened.
