Social media had a lot to say after internet sleuths saw something interesting in Davante Adams’ locker room during his postgame interview.

Davante Adams’ Los Angeles Rams fell 31-27 in a heartbreaker to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. Adams, who also lost four of these games as a member of the Green Bay Packers, is now 0-5 in NFC Championship showdowns.

After forcing a turnover on downs in the red zone, the Seattle offense melted most of the clock and left Matthew Stafford with little time to mount a comeback. The Seahawks defeated their NFC West foes to win the organization’s first conference title in 11 years.

Seattle will meet the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60. Mike Macdonald’s group is favored to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in the Super Bowl 49 rematch.

Adams was understandably emotional in his postgame media scrum, reflecting on another gut-wrenching playoff loss.

Interestingly, Davante Adams’ locker also had an open can of Michelob Ultra. One would assume that Adams opened a cold one as a way to cope with the defeat.

Fans had a lot to say.

“Yikes,” wrote ML Football.

“The only thing that’s not a good look is that he didn’t have six empties up there,” one fan joked.

“Grown man isn’t allowed to drink? Get him a personal 12 pack asap,” a user commented.

“I think it’s more about the fact that he chose Michelob ultra than anything else,” joked a fan.

“His next workday is due in 6 months, he’s on vacation now,” wrote another.

“great look…,” a fan commented.

When you’re 0-5 in conference championship games, it’s simply a case of not getting the bounces. Three of Adams’ five NFC Championship Game appearances were decided by six points or less. This one was a four-point defeat.

Unfortunately, the future Hall of Famer is rapidly running out of time to win a Super Bowl. Adams turned 33 last month and showed signs of decline, finishing with under 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2019. That year, he missed four games.

Rams head coach Sean McVay didn’t like a reporter’s question about Matthew Stafford’s future. That’s an indicator that McVay fully expects Stafford to return for 2026, something that bodes well for LA’s Super Bowl hopes.
