Maxx Crosby’s future with the Las Vegas remains up in the air. While some think he is done with the organization, more rumors about his next destination come to light.

Even without a formal decision on his future, Crosby is a sought-after player. The Raiders have stated that they don’t plan to move him. Even so, teams like the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers have been linked with the defensive end.

He also identified his preferred destination in the NFC North, but the Detroit Lions aren’t the only team Crosby would consider playing for in 2026. Dianna Russini reported that he would welcome playing under Mike Vrabel.

A path to land Maxx Crosby cleared up for the New England Patriots. Following a 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60, the Patriots will go out to find new pieces to try to win another Vince Lombardi trophy.

Moe Monton of Bleacher Report wrote last week that the Patriots would address their “most glaring defensive weakness” with a player like Crosby. They would send their 2026 1st-round pick and 2027 1st-round pick alongside guard Mike Onwenu.

“For the 2025 season, the club tied for 22nd in sacks (35) and ranked 24th in pressure rate (20.3 percent),” Monton wrote.

“Furthermore, Crosby is younger than 29-year-old edge-rusher Harold Landry, and K’Lavon Chaisson will be a free agent who could command a massive salary after logging 7.5 sacks, 23 pressures and 11 tackles for loss this season.”

Onwenu would provide protection to Fernando Mendoza when he officially becomes the Raiders’ starting quarterback. This deal looks good for both teams on paper, but it remains to be seen if they are interested in pulling the trigger.
