United States speed skater and 2026 Olympic gold medalist Jordan Stolz and Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley have one unique physical feature in common: Their exceptionally large quads.

Stolz and Barkley have both used their insanely large quads to reach the mountaintop of their respective sports. Stolz has won two gold medals at the 2026 Winter Olympics, adding to a large trophy room that includes six gold medals in the World Single Distances Championships and five victories in the Four Continents Championships.

Saquon Barkley, nicknamed “Saquad Barkley”, joined the 2,000 club in 2024 and led the Eagles to a Super Bowl 59 championship.

NBC Sports shared close-up images of Barkley and Stolz’s quads. Here’s the comparison:

A note to future NFL stars and speed skaters: Never skip leg day.

Jordan Stolz won Olympic gold in the 500-metre and 1000-metre races. And at only 21 years of age, he’s just getting carted.

Despite winning 11 games and repeating as NFC East champions, 2025 was considered a tremendous disappointment in Philadelphia. They struggled on offense all season long and continuously heard it via boo birds from their frustrated fans.

Reports also indicated that the relationship between AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts had fractured, causing locker room friction. Hurts and Brown both had disappointing seasons for their standards, too.

Barkley was the saving grace on Philly’s offense, though. He rushed for 1,140 yards and seven touchdowns, per Pro Football Reference. Obviously, the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year was never going to repeat his 2K season.

Once again, the Eagles will rely on Barkley to carry the offense in 2026. Especially if Hurts is unable to bounce back from a shaky year.
