Travis Kelce’s NFL future has become a popular topic around the league. After 12 years with the Kansas City Chiefs, Kelce could have played his final game in the NFL. He flirted with retirement following Super Bowl LIX, but decided to run it back.

Kansas City ended up missing the playoffs and Kelce’s future is up in the air. Amid a busy offseason, which included the tight end smacking a female fan in the head with a golf ball and a new business venture alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, Travis has been mentioned in a shocking move to leave the Chiefs.

The three-time Super Bowl champion might end up joining a different team in 2026 instead of retiring.

During a Monday episode of his eponymous show, Craig Carton dropped a bombshell on Travis Kelce’s future. The analyst said that Kelce could finish his career somewhere else. More specifically, he mentioned the New York Giants as a legit landing spot for Kelce.

“The rumor is that Travis Kelce is not going to retire. He wants to come back for another year, but he does not want to go back to Kansas City,” Carton said. “I saw a story today that Travis Kelce wants to play for the New York Giants! That way he and his wife can live in New York City, she can go to every game, and Travis Kelce can be in the biggest media market in America. I know it’s just a rumor, but do not sleep on the Giants signing Kelce this offseason.”

There has been no indication that Kelce holds an interest in joining the Big Blue. The fact that he could play with a player very similar to Patrick Mahomes (Jaxson Dart) could be enticing for the tight end. Still, beyond that, this is only smoke.
